Hey, I’m Danielle! Workshop facilitator & advocate for the healing power of writing in a really overwhelming world.

About Your Facilitator

Writing has always been the best way for me to make sense of both my inner world, and the world around me.

I have spent the better part of adulthood working as a journalist and freelance writer, but the real magic for me has always happened in the pages of my journals.

Today, when I’m not rocking a communications role full-time, I teach restorative writing workshops to build community & help others experience the healing nature of unpacking their own inner narrative through guided journaling.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any previous writing or journaling experience?

Nope! Just a curious, open and willing heart. Writers and non-writers of all experience levels are welcome and can benefit from these workshops.

Will I have to share my writing?

No. While there will be opportunities to share your writing out loud in the safe space of the group, it is not a requirement. You will not be called on or called out to speak at any point in the workshop, and are welcome to pass during any of the group discussions.

What do I need to bring?

Your favourite writing tools! So, a pen & your favourite journal. I highly recommend physically writing in a journal or on paper vs typing on a computer, but only if you are comfortable. If you would prefer typing on your laptop for accessibility or any other reason, feel free!

Please also bring your favourite cup or mug! There will be some complimentary tea served (hot or cold TBD depending on the weather!)
